Film and Photography Club
Dear Parent/Guardian,
We are pleased to inform you that our school is starting a Film and Photography Club to nurture students’ creativity, visual storytelling, and technical skills. The club will provide opportunities for students to explore photography, filmmaking, and digital media while encouraging responsibility, discipline, and teamwork.
As participation in the club involves the use of cameras and related equipment, we kindly request your agreement and consent to the rules and responsibilities listed below.
Rules and Regulations of the Club
Attendance & Discipline:
- Students must attend sessions regularly and follow the timetable.
- Respectful behaviour towards mentors, peers, and school property is mandatory.
Use of Equipment:
- School cameras and equipment (if provided) must be handled with care and returned after use.
- Any damage caused due to negligence will be the responsibility of the student.
Personal Equipment:
- Students are allowed to bring their own cameras and related accessories at their own risk.
- The school will not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of personal equipment.
- Students must ensure their cameras are clearly labelled with their name & class.
Safety & Conduct:
- Photography and filming will be permitted only in designated areas and with prior permission.
- Students must respect the privacy of others. No photos/videos of teachers, staff or fellow students should be taken without explicit consent.
- Use of club activities or photographs/videos for social media without prior school approval is strictly prohibited.
Content Guidelines:
- All work created must be appropriate, respectful and aligned with school values.
- Projects with sensitive, violent or offensive content will not be permitted.
Sharing & Competitions:
- The school reserves the right to use selected photographs or films created by students for exhibitions, competitions, social media promotion, official publications, and website with due credit to the student.
